2nd Shift CNC Lathe Set-up Operator
Set-up Operator (Swiss Style & or Conventional Lathe) is capable and responsible for using an existing program and layout to produce a finished product. This position is responsible for setting up and operating machines for existing products. Once the machine is running, they will operate the machine or assign it to an Operator.
2nd Shift works 4 tens: Monday thru Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am.
Duties and Responsibilities are:
- Review schedule and Identify when a job needs to be setup.
- Interpret setup instructions and documentation for existing products.
- Set up the machine with the required materials i.e. tooling, programs, instructions, attachments, fixtures, programs, etc..
- Complete first piece runoff, ensuring setup, order of operations, clearances, and tolerances are correct.
- Perform first piece approval on work pieces.

- High school diploma.
- Minimum 1yr + Set-up Operator
