Optics Body for Dental Instrumentation

An optics body for use in a dental instrument. Micron produced this part from aluminum using a Swiss lathe CNC machine. The part has several challenging features include multiple crossholes, grooves, notches, a tapered outer diameter, and steps on the inner diameter. Per the customer’s request, Micron coordinated with a secondary supplier to anodize the parts before delivery.
