As president, Mike Preston embodies the culture that makes Micron stand out as an exceptional CNC machining company — one that is dedicated to the success of our customers through continuous improvement of ourselves, our systems, our service, and our products. Mike’s leadership represents the second generation of family ownership and operation.

Colin is the main sales contact for Micron Manufacturing. His dozen years of experience with Micron began on the shop floor, where he was a CNC machining team lead. With this background, Colin brings an unmatched level of technical knowledge and familiarity with machining processes to the role of sales. He is a third generation family employee.

Scott brings over 20 years of manufacturing experience to the table to deliver your project within its specifications. His expertise in Micron’s CNC machining capabilities, material sourcing, and project management make him the ideal fit for meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Scott is a skilled communicator, an avid golfer, and an all-around pro at what he does.

Zache is Micron’s main point of contact for customer service. His 20+ years of experience in manufacturing and logistics make him a skilled interfacer when it comes to our customer’s ordering systems. Zache is a sports cards collector and a Cubs fan.

Brandon excels in technical leadership and problem solving. With 15+ years of experience in machining, his expertise in tooling and machine programming shine whenever challenging projects meet our quote board. When he’s not leading the engineering team at Micron, Brandon enjoys hunting and golf.

Brian is the architect for Micron’s exceptional quality management system. With 25 years as quality manager and 41 years of manufacturing experience in total, he brings a level of persepective that’s invaluable in meeting our customers’ needs. In his off time, Brian has a knack for small engine equipment repair.
